In more than a decade of collecting, I had never come across mending this extensive on black moleskin. I used that cloth to make the bag, bringing together moleskin patchwork in a range of faded black and brown patinas and leaving the unfinished edges visible. All of the outer stitches are sewn by my hand. The body measures 15"
